Brandon sat fingers linked at the fire, the large tent open in the center above to allow smoke out, but that didn't mean one had to wave at a puff every now and then.

With him sat the six elders of his pack, yes he was the Alpha, but they being the oldest living members of the Alps pack had say in his decisions, and currently it was about Haila.

"She's not back yet, her birthday was two days ago Brandon, she has probably awakened and ran off like the disobedient girl she was" elder Frey said as she let go of a stump to fall on the fire.

"I have left her with the only man I trust to fix her, I have faith in him" Brandon said.

"A human?"

"Yes, Miamoto"

She snorted "No matter his title Alpha, humans don't know how to raise werewolves"

"He was not there to raise her, that was my job, Miamoto merely guided her towards the right path"
