Bab 55: Chapter 54: Surprising everyone

"I see" Damon nodded his head in understanding as he carried Lucy out of the room and no one attempted to stop him. It seemed like they were already aware that he won't be able to leave so they weren't bothered.

"what are you doing?" Lucy asked with a confused look on her pale face.

"There are lots of things you shouldn't know about me. If you ever found out, I would have no choice but to kill you, so here is the deal" Damon said with a slight frown.

"You stay here, where it's safe and I fight. Once the formation stopping you from leaving is down, run as fast as you can. Leave this place. I will meet up with you later" Damon said casually which made Lucy frown.

The fact that he refused to make eye contact with her meant he was hiding something. Even then she wondered if he would be able to win since that lady alone was more than enough to put her down and she is meant to be as strong as Damon if not stronger. Fighting against those people alone is no different from suicide.
