Bab 266: To the you twenty years ago

   "Make us pay…?" Kronos said, pausing to let the silence hang in the air before bursting into laughter.

   "Hahaha! Now that's funny." He laughed, looking down at Leon with a smirk on his face. 

   "And how exactly are you going to do that?" He asked, raising one of his brows in mock curiosity, his eyes flashing with a cold glint. 

   Leon tightly clenched his fists to the point where his knuckles turned even paler, his gaze drifting back to the rough earth beneath his feet. 

   Although he wanted to retort that statement, to shout fire back in rage, the bitter truth gnawed at him. 

   Kronos was right, heck he couldn't even find the strength to stand. 

   He was standing on the precipice of death, his body brutally battered and slowly crumbling.

   The white flame within him was barely a flicker, standing on its last legs to keep his heart functioning.
