Bab 182: Chapter 177: The Execution

Dominick visited the dungeon. Selina's face was pale, and there were black shadows below her eyes because she couldn't sleep last night. Elizabeth's eyes were swollen because she had cried a lot last night. Yet Jamie didn't show any reaction. Instead, he was calm and ready to leave the world.

Dominick let out a sigh. He approached Elizabeth's cell. Then asked a guard to open the cell door. Elizabeth's eyes widened, and she hugged herself in the corner, trying to make herself smaller.

Dominick walked in and sat next to Elizabeth. She scooted backward, but the wall stopped her. Her body trembled.

"Will you kill me too?"

"No, little girl. I would bring you out of here to meet my daughter."

"Why?"

"So you can play with her. She is a good girl. I think you will like her."

Elizabeth stared at Dominick for a while. "How old is she?"

"Twelve. My daughter has a lot of dolls and books. Do you like dolls and books?"
