Bab 46: Chapter 45: What If Sophia Is Still Alive?

Daniel now understood why John wanted to let Selina go. It was his guilt to Sophia. 

"Look, John, what happened to Sophia isn't your fault."

"No, it's my fault. I should have thought better and didn't mark Sophia. It's my first mistake. Then it created a snowball." John stared at the ceiling. "If I were the one who should bear the consequence, I took it. No matter how bad it would be, I didn't mind since I was wrong …. But Sophia and his parents, who must be the victims of what I did." 

Daniel walked and sat beside John. He held John's shoulder. "We will avenge Sophia's death." But then he stopped.

John, who knew his friend well, asked, "What?"

"From what I investigated, the hunter ordered to kill Sophia didn't kill Sophia in the Moon Band pack's area. Then he brought Sophia's tuft of hair covered with her blood."

John gulped as sadness and guilt filled his heart to hear about the details. "She should be terrified. Poor Sophia."
