Bab 19: Chapter 18: She Is a Rogue!

Aruna's mother instinctively hugged her daughter. She whispered, "It's not you. I'm sure it's not you."

"What is a spy, Mommy?"

"A spy is a bad person. My Aruna is the sweetest girl. I'm sure you're safe," Aruna's mother said again, more to herself than to Aruna.

"But why did Alpha say the spy is a pup? I'm a pup too."

Before Aruna's mother could explain further, a werewolf, who also had pups, stood and asked, "Please tell us whose pup is it? I'm sure it's not from our family."

Jock stared around until finally, he saw Viona and Sophia. He grimaced and pointed at Sophia. "Sophia Claude. She is a traitor."

Zealous immediately moved and grabbed Sophia's hand. "A pup but you have already brought chaos to our pack. What a shame!"

"I-I'm not a spy!" Sophia stammered. Her little body trembled since many people gazed at her—some with disbelief and the rest with accusing looks. "Momma … help me …."

Zealous pulled Sophia until she sobbed.
