Scrubbing my skin red raw again, I glanced down at the pitiful frame I inherited. 

As a girl, whose hormones had been messed with, despite all the physical training, she was so thin and lean. Having seen how girls should look her own age during recreational time, she had what System called insecurities about herself. 

Maybe that was why the memory of the overseer lecturing her about being a girl was repressed in her mind.

Still, there was something off. No matter how hard I had tried whilst scrubbing myself, there were no other memories of him, no matter how hard I strained myself. 

"System, what do you make of what Nox just said?" I asked, finally giving up and finding out more about this mystery Overseer. 

"From what I could tell, he never lied once, he was truly just joking about the marriage thing as well," it confirmed my gut feelings for me.

"So I'm really half a faerie?" I wanted System to confirm the identity of my new mother.
