Bab 120: 2.88

[Warning: Smut]

The warm morning sunlight made me stretch like a lazy cat, rolling over to grab Izzy to snuggle close. I felt pleased to wake without her feet on my back for a change.

The spot beside me was cold.

My hand frantically roamed until it reached the edge of the bed and my eyes snapped open.

"Izzy?"

My pitch wavered as I jerked up and scanned the room. Not seeing her, I ran into the ensuite to find it just as empty.

Uncaring for my disheveled state, wearing just a baggy t-shirt with a bird's nest for hair, I ran down the hall into her father's room. 

Not even bothering to knock I forced open the locked door.

At my sudden intrusion, Master sat up in the bed. The blanket slid down his bare chest as he glanced up in a confused, semi-asleep state.

This excursion must have really taken its toll on him, purple bags hung heavy under his eyes.

"What's wrong?" He asked, pushing the long, black hair back from his face.
