Bab 124: Laila the Witch

The figure outside the door was moving. I aimed at the shadow, raised my hand, and whispered an attack spell. Suddenly a blue flame shot toward the door. The flame passed through the wooden door and reached the figure standing outside.

The figure groaned and slowly fell. A black hole was left on the door. I whispered to William, "Stay here." William tried to get up to help me, but there was nothing he could do. He lay on the bed and sighed.

After a few seconds of observation, the person outside did not stand up again. I opened the door to check the situation out. There was a pool of black blood on the ground but nothing else. Fat Tom was so scared that he stood there, not knowing what to do. A crow's cry came from the night sky, and the summer wind suddenly became as cold as winter.

"Let's go. Take your wife and get out of here!" I took out a gold coin and threw it at Fat Tom's feet. "Now!"
