Bab 37: Chapter 037
I wake up the next morning feeling absolutely smashed from all the drinking. I get up off the couch and stretch my body.
After rubbing my eyes a bit I look around the room and see a huge mess with drinks and food all over the place. I let out a sigh and get to work cleaning it up.
It took about a hour to fully clean the common room but now it looks as good as new. I sit back down on my couch/bed and put my feet up.
Aki walk into the room and looks pleasantly surprised at how well the room is cleaned. She nods her head and then tells me to follow her to the training room.
I really didn't want to, but I know what would happen if I didn't listen to Aki. So I quickly got up and follow behind her as we walk downstairs.
We walk past the coolers where the bodies are stored, walk past the prep room where Charles and Scarlett make the body's look nice for any open casket funerals.
Then we make it to the training room which is larger than both of the previous rooms combined. We walk through the doors and I look inside. It's about as big as a small gymnasium which always shocks me.
Aki walks to the middle of the floor and takes off her jacket, and get into a fighting pose.
Shaking off any feeling of drowsyness I had before this, I stand before Aki and get into the same pose.
We stand across from each for a few seconds and then slowly inch towards each other. It's barely noticeable but I watch her get ever closer to me.
She then suddenly twists her body around in a full 360 degree turn throwing a kick right at my head. I activate bloodlust to its fullest and Aki doesn't even seem fazed in the least.
After trying to throw her off with bloodlust, I quickly try to dodge the kick and it grazes my face. I throw a straight punch at her hoping to catch her while she's unbalanced.
But Aki continued to turn using the momentum to do another twist bringing her knee into my kidney.
I quickly adjust my stance and use my elbow to block her knee. Aki realized what I was doing and grab me around the neck and brought her leg behind mine and pulled.
Bringing my to the ground and hitting my head against the floor. It stunned me a little and Aki took advantage by pulling my body up and twisting herself around my back.
Not wanting to get put into a lock I throw my head back hitting directly in the face. While she was distracted I grab her by the wrists and brought them over my head and push her away from me.
I slowly stand up still feeling a little dizzy from the floor and Aki's face.
She grabs her nose to stop the bleeding, and also stands up.
After a few seconds the bleeding stops and Aki gets into the same fighting pose from the beginning.
I let out a sigh thinking how scary Aki is. I activate bloodlust and turn it off like a light switch. I watch Aki's face she scowls. I get back into the same fighting pose, and get ready for round two.
As we slowly inched toward each other this time I start the offensive. I jump towards her using my height to put a little more power into my kick.
As I was coming down Aki runs towards me and grabs me by the waist and leg then throws me around so I land basically head first into the ground.
I hit the floor hard and Aki climbs on top of me locking my joints so I couldn't move without breaking them.
Aki's breathing is slightly heavy, and I tap out letting her know I give up.
As she gets off me I decide to complain a little. "Really Aki? Training right after the day of my first mission. Then a drinking party this sure feels like a version of torture." As I continue to lay on the ground trying my best catching my breath.
"That's the point, it's your first mission. I just wanted to make sure that you were still on top shape after taking someone's life."
I thought about what to say. "Aki… I already had all night yesterday to think about it. I even trained for 6 months for gods sake. But please know this Aki. I'm glad you were worried about me." I finished saying.
Aki then got up and quickly grabbed her jacket. "I-I wasn't that worried about you. I knew that you could do it after all."
She left the room before I could even say anything. I flipped over to my back and stared at the ceiling. "I guess that's the end of training."
