Before anyone could say a word, Fiona left the table and headed towards Eva.
People began turning their heads, wondering who her victim was. They all stopped their group discussions, food held between their hands as they prepared for a drama or fight
Eva had her head buried in her food, half smiling at what Alen was saying.
Emily saw her coming first before she tugged at Eva.
"I think she's coming here"
Eva looked up and the smile evaporates off her face.
Alen stops talking immediately and lowered her head to her food, chewing nervously.
The cafeteria was quiet as people stared at the scene which was going to unfold before them.
Fiona placed her two hands on their table with a loud bang which made Alen shudder.
Eva just looked down at her food.
Fiona snapped her fingers at her face.
"Miss Harris. Weren't you told that the royals eat over there" Fiona pointed to where Davis sat with the others.
They were also looking at them except Davis of course who was more focused on his food than anything else.
Eva stuttered as she spoke. She wasn't sure if Fiona was joking.
Did she want her to eat with them???
"Um...I didn't think you'd let..." She bit her lip and said something else. "I just wanted to eat with my friends"
"Friends???" Fiona exclaimed laughing
Alen looked down nervously
Fiona stops laughing immediately.
"Get your slimy body out of that chair and over to the royals...now!!" Fiona smirked cruelly
Eva suddenly frowned
Sure she was intimidated by vampires, she was new here and she was the only witch here , she didn't like it when she was told what to do or worse , ordered.
"What if I don't want to"
Everyone gasped in the cafeteria.
This was the first person who just stood up to Fiona, the most ferocious and feared Vampire in school and ...
she was just a witch.
No one dared to do such a thing.
They knew what Fiona was capable of.
"I thought I warned you about stepping on my toes" She said with a devilish tone, using the tip of her tongue to run it over the rims of her fangs.
"I was minding my own business when you came over. You're the one stepping on my toes" Eva said and people start murmuring
Davis who was still eating, was listening to what was going on over there.
He just smiled saying nothing.
Fiona hit her hands on the table again and Alen's plate dropped to the floor with a clatter.
Fiona forced a smile which looked really scary.
"You're a newbie here but that doesn't mean you'll be an exception to those that dare mess with me in this school"
Emily tapped her slightly.
"You really don't want to mess with her Eva. Just do as she says. Beside today is your first day, don't do anything that will cause an early expulsion"
"Just go over there. Her mother is the principal so she believes everything should go her way. Please don't get us into trouble" Alen pleads
Fiona was staring at the three girls like they were her meal.
"You should listen to your so called pathetic friends Princess" She called the 'princess' with spite and mock. "I won't say it again"
Eva felt so angry but she knew she couldn't cause any trouble today.
It as her first day...
Standing up with her bowl of guacamole and bag of chips, she swung her backpack over her shoulders and starts heading for the royal table, not waiting for Fiona.
Suddenly, Fiona smirked evilly.
She placed her leg out for her and Eva who was too buried in her thoughts tripped over the outstretched leg and fell to her face.
The guacamole plastered across her face and hair and when she sat up, everyone in the cafeteria starts laughing at her.
Not everyone though...
Davis looked back at her pathetic condition and looked away again.
No single expression was shown on his handsome face as he kept eating.
Alen and Emily quickly rushed to help her up but Fiona stepped forward and gnarled her fangs at them.
"One more step towards the witch and you'll be In a far worse condition".
The two girls stepped back In fright looking wistfully at Eva who was trying to stand but kept slipping on the mess splattered on the floor causing everyone to laugh even more.
Tears formed in her eyes but she didn't let it fall. She didn't want to give Fiona that satisfaction of seeing her cry.
Fiona stooped low and sneered at her
She tugged at her hair which had guacamole on it.
Eva winced as she felt a pang of pain in her scalp.
Fiona let go of her hair roughly.
"This is sort of a reminder.....there is one rule you must follow around her and that's to do whatever I say..." She stands up straight.
"Don't get up from that spot till I say so".
Suddenly, someone appears right beside Fiona.
Everyone stops laughing immediately.
Eva almost died in shock and awe
It was a male vampire.
So far, she noticed Davis was the most handsome male in school but this vampire ...
Beautiful was not enough to define him.
It looked like from all the gorgeous males in school, he and Davis were at the top 2 scrambling for top 1.
His hair was inky black and fell across his face and neck giving his face a sexy, dangerous look.
His eyes were blue like the ocean and so dreamy you could get lost in them.
His skin was pale white.
Right now, there was a frown on his beautiful face.
Eva looked at Fiona.
The mischievous smirk on her lips and in her eyes were not there anymore, they were replaced by...
Fear
Eva looked around.
No one was laughing.
The cafeteria was so silent you can hear a drop of water plop on the ground.
Eva looked back at the him and almost blushed under his fierce, curious gaze
Who was this person...
