Bab 243: Feeling Terrible

Jason checked his wristwatch for the umpteenth time as he sat in his car. It's only been fifteen minutes since Layla left to go and talk to Dan. To him, it has been one of the longest fifteen minutes ever.

What if after talking with him, he forgives her and says he wants her back? Will she want to go back to being with him?

Even though she told him that she doesn't love Dan and would not like to go back to dating him. Jason can't help but think that she might want to do just that when he forgives her.

A part of him says he might be overthinking things but if Layla decides that she wants to go back to being with Dan, there is nothing he can do to stop her.

He opened his glove compartment and took out one of the stress balls that he kept there. He took steady deep breaths as he squeezed the ball. His therapist had suggested doing this whenever he is anxious.
