Edith tapped nervously on the table as she sat at the restaurant waiting for Deb to come with the money. Stan and his men were on standby waiting in case Deb wanted to try and harm her.
After about an hour of waiting, Edith thought Deb wasn't going to show up and she was about to leave when Deb finally walked wearing a frown.
"Sorry for keeping you waiting," Deb apologized as she took off her sunglasses.
She pulled out a chair and sat down crossing her legs.
"Do you have the money?" Edith asked going straight to the point.
"I do. But before I give you the money we have to come to an agreement."
"You have my word Deb, I won't contact you or try to get more money from you after this," Edith assured her.
"Your word is not enough, I need you to give me something other than your word. I need to be sure that you won't come back for more."
"I have nothing to give you Deb, I assure you that I won't try to contact you ever again."
