Bab 152: Stay Away

"Layla?!" both Maddie and Ava called out, their voices laced with fear.

Ava got off her chair and slipped through the tiny space between the front seats and came to the back seat.

"Layla? Layla, can you hear me?" Tears filled Ava's eyes as she shouted Layla's name, gently shaking her leg.

Layla's eyes were closed and she wasn't making any sound.

Blood kept gushing out of the gunshot wound on her chest and Maddie's jacket which she used in applying pressure on it to stop the bleeding was already soaked with blood.

Layla seemed to be turning pale by the minute.

Ava panicked as she took off her shirt, removed Maddie's already-soaked jacket and started using her shirt to apply pressure on Layla's wound, in a bid to stop the bleeding.

Maddie on the other hand kept screaming at the real estate agent to drive faster.
