Bab 130: Disappointment

After Ava left Maddie's apartment she didn't go back home. Instead, she turned off her phone and went for a long drive, to clear her head.

She kept thinking about her father. More than ever before she wished he was here. She wished she could see him and talk to him. She wished she could get a hug from him.

She wrapped arms around herself as She sat inside her car staring at nothingness.

Ava thought about the man who had called her earlier in the morning wanting to tell her about who had killed her father. Was she too hasty to have blocked his number? What if he truly did know the person who had killed her father? Or was he just bluffing just Maddie had said?

As Ava thought about the whole situation, her curiosity got piqued, and she started considering the idea of unblocking the man's number and giving him a call.
