Bab 57: The Meeting (unedited**)

Later that afternoon Ava and Mason both got ready and they drove down to his grandparents' house to have lunch with them.

She was putting on a conservative dress that stopped below her knees, and flat sandals.

Would they like her? What if they don't? It's not it would really matter to her anyway if they do or not. But she still couldn't but wonder if they would.

Ava could feel her heart beating so fast. The beat kept picking up in pace as they got closer to the area Mason told her his grandparents lived.

No matter how much Mason tries to downplay it, she was still nervous. She is going to meet his grandparents for crying out loud, these people have been looking forward to him getting married. Now he was going to introduce her to them as his wife. A wife that he would be divorcing soon.

Who does that? It doesn't make any sense to her. Couldn't he have come up with an excuse when they asked to see her?
