Both guards, who were placed in front of the king's chamber, were a little bit taken aback when they saw their future queen poking her head from behind the door with a sleepy face and rather messy hair.

"Are you looking for the king?" one of the guards with green eyes asked her politely. He looked so tall and well built. To be fair, all the guards in this place were like that.

"Actually… no." Hazel wasn't really looking for Micah, because she had an even more urgent thing to do right now rather than to see him. "May I know where the kitchen is?" she asked timidly, which left them puzzled.

"Kitchen?" The green-eyed guard repeated the question, because he wanted to make sure that he didn't hear it wrong and then he saw her nod. Her grey eyes were so beautiful and it was the first time for anyone here to see such eyes.
