"I don't think you forget because you don't remember. I have think you forget because you don't want to be sad. Because you don't want to feel that sadness. That emptiness she left behind," Alex said and Vanessa felt tears gather in her eyes.

"I miss her. I miss her so much. More than I can say," Vanessa said as a tear dropped from her eyes and Alex reached out to brush it off with his thumb.

"Sophia must miss her too." Alex stated, and she resignedly sighed.
