Bab 39: Starting The Long Game IV

The Vice president sat there froze, as none of this information was what he wanted. Worst of all, the information he wanted to know was not even added to the document.

Vice President Go realised he did not have an answer to any questions, and others played him. He was curious and protective of the company, but he did not expect his boss's family to make him a pawn like this.

He was stabbed in the back and did not even know about it.

How pathetic!

"Just a security protocol. Nothing else." The Vice president did not even believe his bluff. But he hoped, for some miraculous reason, Haneul would buy his bluff. Or be merciful of him.

"Your vice president is calling me stupid. Blatantly in front of me. Isn't he? I am not the same stupid teenager who blindly believes people like you. I had made that mistake once, and I don't prefer having seconds of that serving!" Even though his words started as mocking the vice president, Haneul took a dig at his so-called elder brother.

He smirked when he knew his words hit his so-called elder brother on the sore spot.

Even though the issue was with the vice president, he knew who was the puppet master. So he did not pay much attention to the ignorant man. But the wound from all those years still hurts. He was unwilling to let his so-called elder brother walk unscathed.

Lim Do Yun took a deep breath. He did not want to talk about his little brother's words as he believed he deserved such treatment. He gritted his teeth and chose to protect his Lim family's pride and their company's employee. "Choi Haneul… there must be a misunderstanding. Why don't you let go of the issue?"

"It is not about me. I am just a small employee of SMJ. A replaceable small employee to a big firm like SMJ. It is about you guys not keeping your word and trying to mess with my boss. All the best in explaining everything to him." Haneul threw a dirty look at the CEO.

Lim Do Yun was about to say something to turn the tables around. Obviously, he realised where his brother's loyalty stood and could never make his little brother join their side. All his plans went down the drain.

Haneul's loyalty to SMJ was unshakeable!

Lim Do Yun was about to say something to turn the tables around. But Haneul took a letter from the file in his hand.

The letter had SMJ's official logo and was personally addressed to the CEO of CraZe entertainment. The name was written in beautiful calligraphy that could put anyone to shame.

Lim Do Yun was impressed by the elegant handwriting and even distracted for a minute. He did not know the grave situation their company was facing.

Lim Tae-Ri knew whose handwriting it was, and her blood ran cold.

Her sunbae - BB, never cared about these kinds of company disputes and never interfered directly. One of his legal team would always take care of it usually.

If the issue were of business importance, one of his secretaries would take care of it.

If the issue were of personal importance, then it would be one of his younger brothers would take care of it.

The notice and a handwritten envelope from the king of hell only meant two things - CraZe was in trouble, and Haneul was important to the second master of the Wang family.

Tae-Ri could not believe it. She racked her brain to remember if the second master and Haneul had ever interacted during their school days. But nothing came to her mind.

She knew Haneul was close to the third master, who treated him like a little brother. Those two behave more like siblings than with their siblings.

As for the fourth master, they were 'intimately close'. His relationship with the fourth master was well-known in the school; everyone knew how scandalous those two were when they were not so-dating but doing everything else.

Haneul was close to their sister as well. The two could be considered best friends.

But Tae-Ri knew Haneul never interacted with the second master for him to get involved personally unless he was doing it for his siblings. After all, he had always been intimidated by the second master.

Tae-Ri realised Haneul had backing from the Wang family's second master - the CEO of SMJ.

"This is the warning notice issued by SMJ. Our lawyer will meet you soon to discuss the further process and documentation regarding the warning notice soon. Try to mess with me again, and it will be my boss visiting CraZe to take over the company or set the company on fire as he does not want to manage it." Haneul's eyes were spitting fire, and he did not hide the ridicule in his tone.

He was close to calling the CEO Lim an idiot but trying not to rub the salt in the wound.

"Isn't this excess? You are trying to lord us here in our company while we try to accommodate you and treat you with…" Lim Do Yun tried to make it seem like Haneul was being unreasonable.

Lim Do Yun forgot their company's fate was in the hand of SMJ's CEO. He tried to underplay things by trying to intimidate Haneul.

"You might not go by the book. But we have to if we want to protect our company - SMJ's reputation. Don't forget that CraZe will become SMJ's subsidiary soon if you fail on your end of the bargain. After all, at this point, we own the shares as equal as you guys." Haneul issued the warning.

After that, he leaned back on the sofa and looked at the people in the room as if they were discussing the weather.

"I will meet BB and apologies properly. I will explain our behaviour to him and go through the legal procedures." Lim Tae-Ri spoke apologetically as if she did not know the said CEO was not in the country.

Haneul looked at Lim Tae-Ri with an amused grin. After all, he knows that she knows the CEO of SMJ was out of the country. But she did an excellent job in playing along with him.

This game will be interesting, with lots of backstabbing and scheming.

He loves it already!

Haneul was ready to play his part in the greater scheme!!!
