Yasmin's mind was jumbled with the thoughts of Natasha. She became restless. "Um… th-this weekend? I-I have other plans."

"What are your plans?"

Yasmin was again clueless about what to say. She said it to avoid having to meet with her but didn't think Declan would want to know the reason. In the meantime, she remembered her meeting with Julia at the restaurant. Her sharp mind quickly devised an explanation.

She sulked and pretended to be sad. "I don't want to go see her. She doesn't like me. She will be annoyed to see me. It is best if you go alone."
