Bab 183: Chapter 182- Sleeping in the same bed

Declan worked for a few hours after dinner and then returned to the bedroom. He noticed Yasmin attempting to get up from her wheelchair and onto the bed. He quickly approached her and assisted her. As he was putting her on the bed, his leg collided with the wheelchair, causing him to lose his balance. He tripped over her, his hands on either side of her, propping himself up. His face was close enough to hers that he could smell the light floral scent of her perfume.

Their eyes locked instantly, and sparks flew between them.

Declan couldn't stop his heart from racing. He wanted to get lost in her beautiful eyes. However, her specs were a thin barrier in the line of his sight. He reached out to take them, then set them aside.

Yasmin blinked a few times. Her eyelashes fluttered like butterfly wings, and she looked cute. Her rosy lips tempted him.

Declan wanted to claim them, but all he could do was swallow hard.
