Bab 69: Chapter 68- Candlelit dinner

Yasmin impatiently chewed on the insides of her cheeks. She had been locked inside the bedroom since she got home, Declan strictly forbidding her to go out until he called her. She peered at the door, wanting to open it slightly and see what he was doing. But she also didn't want to ruin the surprise he had planned for her.

What would she do with the tight knot rolling in her tummy?

She could hardly hold herself back. The bed on which she sat seemed to prick her buttocks. Curiosity pushed its way from her stomach to her throat, urging her to get up and walk out. She, who wanted to be an obedient wife, swallowed that desire and forced herself to sit quietly. But that stubborn curiosity reared its head and waved at her, compelling her to get to her feet.

She trotted to the door and then came back to the bed. She had done it several times before sinking herself into the bed.
