Bab 281: No time for games

After hearing Zhang Renshu's outburst, Fang Bingwen went straight to find Zhang Liling as she was the reason he got scolded.

Knocking once on her door, his lungs released a deep breath.

Not long after, he heard the shuffling of feet on the rug as his brow creased. The next moment, the door swung open.

"Mr. Fang!" Zhang Liling's eyes instantly lit up the moment she saw Fang Bingwen standing right outside her door.

She was so happy with his presence that she didn't notice the unhappiness radiating from him.

"Please come in," she said, gesturing for him to walk in.

Watching the little woman oblivious to the unforeseen encounter he just had with her father, another sigh fell off his lips as he made his way into her bedroom.

Shutting the door behind them, Zhang Liling hurriedly went up to him as he waited beside her bed.

"Mr. Fang, what brought you to my room?" She asked with excitement laced in her tone.
