"Your majesty, think again. This marriage.. Would not be accepted by the royal court." the priest pleaded in a soft voice. He was afraid that he would be blamed later for being a rebel as he was marrying their ruler to a strange woman with no name and origins.

"Why?" Alex tilted his head, "will you not read the vows or do you think my promises would not be real?" The pressure in his voice and eyes forced the priest to bow his head immediately.

"That.. that was not what i meant. The royal court.."

"They work for me. I do not work for them. They will not decide who i marry and when i will marry. I will! Now, are you going to read the vows or not?" the priest could only nod under such pressure. He was afraid that his head would be cut from his body even if he would raise his head in front of Alex.

He wondered who was the man who was just standing there casually and was bullied by this woman all this time and from where did this beast come!
