Bab 114: "The Last Trial" 

Mariella had been sitting on Duke Fez's lap since this morning, and even when they were about to leave to attend the trial, the baby didn't want to move at all. 

Thankfully, Duke Fez only thought that the baby was being wilful because those people traumatized her, and she resisted the thought of seeing those people again. 

Duke Fez smiled helplessly and ruffled Mariella's hair as he carried her around. 

"Okay, okay, dad will always hold you. If you're scared, you can hide your face on my shoulder or my chest, okay?" 

Duke Fez didn't know why but he really couldn't reject Mariella's wishes these few days. 

It was almost as if he would regret his action whenever he rejected the baby's wishes.

Mariella immediately flashed a sweet smile at Duke Fez's words, and the baby started to be a boneless jellyfish once more, using Duke Fez as her personal chair.
