Bab 314: Forsaken (2)

The priest of Azalea Town was pleased when Iris' group accepted his invitation to join them on a mission. Iris, Killian, and Amelia pretended it was their first time hearing about the land of the mermaids, Eldoris. They sat at the back as Reverend Adelard briefed their small group on what to expect from this mission.

Iris's eyes swept around them, gauging the other group members' strength. Their group was odd, as not only humans were part of it. There were a pair of elves, a high fae, and a centaur. Only the three of them were of demon ancestry, which easily made them ostracized by the other group members despite the priest's claim of fairness between all beings.

Reverend Adelard emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation among the diverse members, as they would face unknown challenges in Eldoris. He assured them that their unique abilities and skills would complement each other, making them a formidable team.
