Bab 181: Time to Change (2)

With the help of Liliana, Amelia was able to rescue her brother and return to the Scarboroughs' cabin, finding Ren sleeping and a few evacuees staying with them. She had tried her best to tend to her brother's injuries, but they would have to wait for Iris since she was the only one amongst them who could use healing magic.

When Iris returned, Ricci was visibly relieved to see that her lady had come back with Chrysanthe. Iris didn't waste her time and healed Jacob, much to Amelia's relief. Jacob and Ren were saved, but it didn't mean they were safe from the unseelie and Night Critters who suddenly attacked the town out of nowhere.

"Melia, can we have a word with you in private?" Chrysanthe asked. "Please?"

Amelia looked between her friends and could sense that something might have happened. She wordlessly followed her friends back in the woods, wondering why Iris refused to take either Ricci or Liliana with them.
