"You heard my wife, Killian. You better not meddle and stop me this time." Daemon said, looking at the darkness of the woods ahead of them, sensing two familiar presence from it.

Chrysanthe looked in the direction where Daemon was looking, but her human eyes couldn't perceive who was lurking in the shadows. Had Killian Fleurnoir been there all this time and observing?

Killian Fleurnoir and Lorcan stepped out of the shadows and revealed themselves. It had taken them some time to catch up with Iris's group and recently found out about Scarborough family's pitiful end.

"There's no need for me to interfere when the Queen was the one who initiated it." The demon lord replied, looking annoyed, while the young boy next to him looked at Chrysanthe with curiosity.
