In the midst of the academy's hallways, a brown haired man with purple eyes walked nonchalantly. Behind him several piercing gazes followrd his every movement.

[Arcuied... Arcuied...] Faust muttered, deep in thought. [That kind of magical energy... It's abnormal...]

Rio ignored the man's floating thoughts. His master, Faust, had been deep in thought ever since he saw Arcuied's battle a while earlier. It was understandable, afterall the talent and prowess Arcuied shown was far beyond initial expectations.

Not only did Arcuied enter the 'flow' state in the battle, Faust seemed to also sense a deep, primordial level energy resting inside the the kid's body.

As for that energy... even he, himself, someone that personally read that novel didn't know of its existence. Most of Arcuied's peculiarities wasn't mentioned in the novel, only offering some tidbits of information that was close to useless.
