IT HAPPENED the day that Veronica Wilson "requested" to have tea with Empress Liane.

Tabitha took a stroll with Hendrix while Her Majesty entertained the Wilson Siblings.

However, her husband was soon summoned by the emperor again just before they were about to return home.

Hence, she had no choice but to wait in the garden alone.

And that was when Veronica Wilson appeared.

[Judging by her pale complexion, then it must mean that Empress Liane "won." Of course, the legal wife has to win at all costs.]

"Marchioness Rochester," Veronica Wilson greeted her, smiling. "Fancy meeting you here."

Tabitha smiled and nodded. "Are you on your way home, Lady Veronica?"

"That's right, my lady," the younger lady said. "I was about to go home with my brother. But he was summoned by His Majesty."
