Empress Liane knitted her eyebrows. "What do you mean by that, Lady Tabitha?"

"It just makes sense for them to know," she explained. "After all, I have almost the same ability as the one after Your Majesty. And if Your Majesty can see that the color of my soul is different from most people, then the enemies probably know that I have a special ability."

The empress looked more concerned now. "That's true. However, you haven't experienced anything strange until I approached you, Lady Tabitha. Is it possible that my enemies noticed your ability when I approached you?"

"That's a possibility, Your Majesty."

Her Majesty looked like she was about to cry. "I'm terribly sorry, Lady Tabitha. Because of me, you caught the enemies' eyes…"
