Bab 317: When Worlds Collide

"Wow, this wasn't what I was expecting," Bai Ting said when they reached the camp. 

It was a pitreal war camp and the stench of anger and disdain was more than obvious. The warriors looked like they were from different regions, and they seemed to believe that they were fighting for something just and perhaps they truly were. 

Some of the warriors were sparring while others were drowning themselves in beer. 

They looked like they were hoping that the day would get better when they knew so damn well that the opponent they were after wasn't just any opponent but the woman who could bring down their whole realm. 

It was a crazy idea, but Nate couldn't help but agree, that this was easily the bravest lot of people he had ever encountered.
