"You thought we didn't know?" Francheska chuckled she looked at Riane with nothing but mockery in her eyes.

"What are you talking about?" Of course, Riane was still able to control herself. She was a seasoned warrior, there is no need to act on her emotions. It is still bitter to observe and wait before she does anything rash. "I don't — "

"Lady— " Their conversation was interrupted by a bloody Joana. When Joana saw Matthew, she too had a weird expression on her face. She was here to inform Riane that they are practically done with their mission. All of them were injured and someone even went as far as sustaining an injury that made him faint. It was very convincing.

"Watch her…" Matthew ignored both Riane and Joana as he walked out of the tent. She gave Francheska a meaningful look before he suddenly jumped from the ground to a nearby tree. His action was too quick, too sudden it surprised both Riane and Joana.
