"What was that all about?" Ava asked the moment she created a barrier inside the room. "That figure— "

Ava gasped when she saw a humanoid shadow appear next to Matthew. She couldn't see any features and wasn't even sure if it was a male or female. But she could clearly feel the shadow staring at her.

"Did you find it?" Matthew asked.

"Good… watch it. I am certain it would come back." Matthew then looked at Ava. "This is Kimmala. You may call his name once you need something. He will be there."

Ava nodded. She didn't want to pry into his business but she wanted to know. "What was that thing?"
