"She is going to leave." Drigo looked at his mother. Then he gave the woman a smile full of assurance. "She's going to her quarters."

"It's alright mother. I'll be fine," Drigo said. Again, if Matthew wanted him dead. Then there is no way he would survive.

What was the point of fighting back? Right now, Drigo just wanted to keep his mother safe.
