Bab 246: The King's Invitation

Ulva held her head high as she walked towards the two-story house across the road.

She recalled the last time she visited the Mourning Pits and the reason why she always hated coming back. It was the fact that this place always had this dark aura that seemed to surround it. It felt like something heavy and suffocating blanketed the area.

She gulped as pushed the thoughts out of her head.

The King wanted Ava to go to the Kingdom. He wanted her to personally invite Ava. Of course, she knew that this isn't just because of that woman but because of the powerful person behind Ava. They believed that the woman had a mentor, a powerful one at that.

But unlike them, Ulva didn't think so.

Ava was a cunning woman. She arrived out of nowhere and immediately targeted the next King of the Lycans. Her arrival was not only a surprise, it was so sudden that even those who were always watching over Matthew hadn't heard about her before the binding.
