"Are you sure she's coming?" Alex asked as they stood on top of a cliff. The sound coming from the cliff made her frown. She looked up and curse. The presence of the clouds around the sun made the place darker, and scarier.
For someone like her who had visited the pits twice, this feeling just never gets old. She had stood on this very cliff before. But it seems that there is simply no getting used to it. The Pits are scary. And though she had no memory of what happened inside, she could feel a shiver in her bone every time she thought about surviving, about going out.
"We're leaving soon," she looked at the others, who didn't even bother to say a word to her. "If she's not coming— "
