"And you are threatening the future King of the Lycans. Do you think the council would still protect you once they knew you are directly working with witches for their experiments?"

"I already mentioned this to your council! And I am going to say it again. Trillium is not supporting those experiments."

"Trillium hid the fact that the witches are experimenting on humans. They secretly created hybrids, got their base robbed, and the information stolen. Isn't that what happened?" Matthew asked.

"You— "

"You see… " Matthew interrupted him. "I think you are underestimating the Lycans. Was it because we don't usually involve ourselves with politics?"

Jude just clenched his teeth. Matthew knew that the man was trying to stop himself from kneeling down and worshiping Matthew.
