Bab 121: Pervert

The image in front of her was showing Kieran in a car with someone she doesn't recognize. Matthew just told her that this was the man that Kieran met after he came here. And he— he was the dog of the de Cene Family.

"And you think they are cooking up something?" she asked. However, her mind was still on Phil who was with Baba and some doctor right now. They are doing some more tests to find out the reason why he had a hybrid's blood on his system.

"Are you alright?" Matthew asked.

"Of course, why do you ask?"

"You seemed…. Different."

"Different? How?"

"You are worried about him?" He got up and took her hand, pulling her up.

"What are you— "

"Come…" he said.

Ava smiled in response then she followed him towards the couch. He sat and pulled her down towards his lap.

"What are you— " His warmth enveloped her. It was something she didn't even know she needed.
