Bab 60: Against Your Father

"Is this still about the drama?" asked Seth, raising one brow. Violet has become so obsessed with those ancient stories that she even wrote a drama. 

Violet didn't reply. She remained quiet for some time, pondering how to answer her twin brother. 

At first, she could use this as an excuse that everything is only about the drama she and Lavender collaborated with… But sooner or later, she could no longer hide the truth from him. 

"Well, it's for the drama, yes. I want to understand our ancestors' ways of viewing things in the past and why I am urged to repurchase everything that belongs to our Tan family—Grandma Lucy's ancestors." 

Violet stares at Seth nervously. She studied his expression; as usual, he is good at concealing any emotion on his face. She could not fathom what was on his mind, so she awaited his reply.
