At first, I stood rooted to the floor as my mind tried to process what was happening. I couldn't get my legs to move as I watched him approach.

"What do you want?" I frown at him as I tried to cover the back window with my back.

"You have kids?" He sounded broken, and the expression on his face was the replica of the tone he made use of.

"Yes, is there anything wrong with it? Don't you have a daughter with Kira?" I know there was no reason to try to deny his words.

Of course, I have kids.

"That's different, Lee. You—"

"Different?" I scoffed. "Do you mean to tell me you are permitted to have a daughter while I'm not?" I laughed at the words.
