Drake thought to himself staring out the window. He knew where Marion and William had gone, he could have gone after them, if he wanted to. But who would thwart Eleanor's plans if she began to launch an attack?
Just the other day she had tried to organize everything, so that the poison given by Eleanor did not need to be sprinkled on William's drink.
He had made up his mind that he would not harm Marion or William, not even their families and allies. Drake had no relations or problems with them. Even William's flock had been very kind to him in the past.
Now he could only lament, heartbroken.
"What are you doing here, dear?" asked Eleanor, wrapping an arm around Drake's waist. Feeling his belly and the firm chest hidden under the shirt he wore.
Drake didn't want to turn around. He only gave Eleanor a quick glance and looked out again.
