"I can neither confirm nor deny those allegations." Joshua said.
"I bet." The barkeep replied. She continued the transaction and handed Joshua his status plate back. She then reached under the counter and pulled out the cases of booze Joshua had purchased.
"Pleasure doing business with you." Joshua said as he Doreen and Gina all picked up some of the cases.
"Right, too bad it'll be the last time I ever see you." The barkeep replied. "You know because you are ignoring my sage advice and heading straight into death. But maybe you will survive, maybe demons are just that superior to us normal folk."
Joshua and the girls didn't say another word, they just took their cases outside and loaded up the wagon. As they did, they noticed Tilly and Lucy walking towards them.
"I see you got the good stuff." Lucy said with a smile as she approached. "I would hate for the demon lord to have stooped so low as to get bottom shelf swill. So, I am happy with your choice."
