Tyler's POV
"Anika, I will return to the car and get your Ipad; you need to stay here, okay?" I asked.
"Dad, I am not a little girl anymore, and much more not a baby," she replied as she pouted her lips, and she looked so adorable.
"Anika, you will always be daddy's little girl," I replied, and she frowned at me.
I walked out of the hospital's cafeteria with a wide grin. We are currently at the Kruma hospital for her regular check-ups, but since we started her Psychotherapy, nothing has changed; she is still the same. I know I should have sought professional help right away, but I was mending my broken heart for so long, but even now, I am still broken.
I don't think there is a way that I could have a normal life again after everything that happened in my life. I know I made the wrong choices in my life, but the only thing that remained right and perfect was my daughter. I will do everything I can to protect Anika and give her a better life.
