Bab 450: ...I Really Doubt That

Jacob did say that Noelle loved to read more than anything else. That was incredibly romantic. He had also said that Perry was quite a character. This certainly lent credence to that statement. 

"Did he know it was you?" Addison asked curiously. "Or would he have saved anyone?"

"Oh, he knew it was me alright. I was so confused why this completely random stranger knew my name at the time. Turned out, he wasn't a stranger at all. I had never seen any pictures of him but he knew what I looked like from following me on Instagram. That was why he jumped in," Noelle said fondly.

Becca snorted. "Didn't he completely ignore the fact that the guy had a knife and then was confused when he actually got cut?"

"He did." 

"That does sound like him," Joy said with a smile. "He may not know what he's doing a lot of the time but he has the spirit."
