Bab 92: Happy New Year

Elle enjoyed her first truly peaceful day in years the day before New Year's Eve because she was off work and had absolutely no commitments. Her hotel room was already unpacked, she had bought herself some cooking utensils and groceries so she wouldn't have to rely solely on takeout, and there wasn't a single reason for her to leave. 

She laid around finishing up that show she had started with Cherry and petting Spicy for most of the day though she did end up texting Collin once he was off work because he wanted to see how she was doing. She spent the rest of the night doing that and indulging in some of the stocking stuffers Cherry had given her. 

Was this what having a normal life was like? Friends and free time. She could get used to this. 

No one was ordering her around or insulting her or banging on her door. She had no obligations whatsoever.
