Joanna thought with a quiet smile, her heart swelling with a mix of affection and determination.

She would have loved to give Jocelyn and Rachel more time to make up their minds, but time was not on their side.

"If you still insist on staying back, I won't force you. Drey and I are going on this journey…"

"Of course, she's coming along with you both, right, Celyn?" Rachel interjected suddenly, her voice firm as she locked eyes with Jocelyn.

Jocelyn hesitated, meeting Rachel's gaze full of sincerity and concern. The conviction in her best friend's eyes softened her resolve. Although she had made up her mind to stay behind, she could no longer refuse Rachel's silent plea.
