Bab 157: Erasing memories just to make you stay

Aiden absentmindedly brush Lucien's hair. Lucien's warmth transferring to his lap is overwhelming. 

Aiden is no longer human.

It was impossible to keep his body warm. 

Guess in this case, it's his soul that won't feel any warmth. (A/N: He meant him possessing Alicia's body. His body is warm, but at the depth of his soul, he can't feel anything.)

But there's no need to stress about that matter. This is a fact that Lucien should not know. Aiden stared at Lucien's smooth skin along the surface of his cheek. 

He touched it with his finger, pinching and pressing the softness with his index and thumb. 

That's right. There's no need for him to know. 

"You are better off not knowing anything." Aiden lowly murmured. 

Because you will never forgive me because of what I've done. 

Because you will not stay comfortably by my side like this.
