At last, Lucien left the choice of going or not to the little protagonist himself. He looked at him and asked.
"What do you think? Are you willing to go?"
Lucien can see reluctance hidden in the little protagonist's eyes. That one look says he wants to go, but only if Lucien came with him.
The little protagonist clutched into Lucien's arm, unwilling to let go.
Old Fe and Michael took the hint. Aiden is not going without Lucien. Even so, Michael is still not willing to give up.
"Child, you said you wanted to be a Mage correct?"
The little protagonist's attention was diverted from Lucien.
"We have no problems taking your older brother too, but with the demon on the loose, I think he would be in grave danger more than you."
"Why?"
"Remember when I told you about the attacks that targeted the Alchemists specifically?"
Lucien and the little protagonist both nodded.
Lucien: I did not make the little protagonist cry!
Aiden: But you hurt my feelings *sob*
Lucien: I didn't!
Aiden: .... I'm hurt. (My wife wants to be my parent....why? Am I lacking?)
Author: No, you just need to grow up.
