Bab 207: True Identity

***ALEX'S POV***

I rushed as quickly as I could after I heard about Jake from the apes. I only stopped to eat and sleep as necessary. I didn't want to take more time than I needed to right now. I needed to get going. I needed to find Jake now. I just had to.

It took me just over two days to reach the next village, and that was with me nearly running the entire time. I was really glad that I had more stamina and energy in this story, in this body. Isabelle was a beast woman, and she was a strong one at that. She was more than capable of taking on this task and running all out for a couple of days. Just maybe not forever. 

I was glad that I had reached the bear village. I would see if Jake was here right now. If he wasn't, then I would head out of here and toward the Jaguar village that was beyond this one. I would find him, sooner or later. I would get to him and then I would be able to get out of this story.
